My stay at Woodwards was a bit of a letdown compared to past visits. The location is great for exploring the Franconia Notch area, but the rooms felt cramped and dated, which was disappointing. The shuttle service to Lincoln for dinner was convenient, but it ended up costing more than expected. I really hope the new owners take action to address some of these issues, as Woodwards used to be a highlight for us.

The rooms were cramped and had an unpleasant smell. The bedspreads looked worn and tired, likely not updated since 2008. Overall, not what I expected.

The service was accommodating, but we had to deal with some disorganization during meals. It didn't leave a great impression.

The location is fantastic, close to all the attractions we wanted to visit in Lincoln, but the indoor pool area had an overpowering smell of chlorine.
